What you will do

• Hire and manage a team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects focused on Lakebase.
• Drive technical adoption and consumption of Lakebase within complex, strategic enterprise accounts.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer feedback and competitive insights into product evolution.
• Build and promote the Lakebase brand in the market through collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Sales.
• Coach pre-sales team members to achieve best-in-class execution and raise the bar for technical delivery.
• Provide high-level technical leadership in the transactional database (OLTP) and modern data architecture domains.

Requirements

• 5+ years of first-line or second-line leadership experience managing teams of 7+ or 20+ individuals.
• Proven success in high-growth enterprise software pre-sales with expertise in transactional (OLTP) database technologies.
• Experience managing complex strategic accounts generating $1M+ ARR.
• Strong technical knowledge of data platforms, data warehousing (OLAP), cloud infrastructure, and AI solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
