What you will do

• Perform independent compliance assurance reviews covering financial crime controls, fraud risk management, and outsourcing arrangements.
• Plan and execute risk-based compliance audits and thematic reviews across markets including Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
• Conduct regulatory gap analyses to assess current operational practices against regional laws and internal policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify control weaknesses and implement agreed-upon remediation actions.
• Support the Singapore MLRO in fulfilling AML/CFT regulatory responsibilities, including suspicious transaction reviews and reporting.
• Review and enhance compliance policies, SOPs, and training materials based on audit findings and emerging risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance assurance, audit, or regulatory compliance within fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Proven experience in conducting risk-based compliance assessments and regulatory gap analyses.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
• Location: Must be based in Singapore.
