What you will do

• Formulate and execute regional legal strategy aligned with global business objectives.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to APAC leadership on commercial ventures and market expansions.
• Oversee corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and government relations across APAC markets.
• Guide the regional team through complex multijurisdictional regulatory landscapes, including data privacy and financial frameworks.
• Manage disputes, employment matters, and corporate transactions in collaboration with external counsel.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of legal professionals.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified lawyer in Singapore or another major common law jurisdiction.
• Minimum of twelve years of experience with significant in-house regional leadership.
• Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory environments across key APAC markets (Southeast Asia, Australia, Greater China).
• Proven track record of managing distributed legal teams and navigating multijurisdictional challenges.
• Outstanding commercial acumen and ability to balance compliance with business growth.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
