TL;DR

Commercial Account Executive (DevSecOps): Driving growth and adoption of an AI-powered DevSecOps platform within the New Zealand mid-market segment with an accent on pipeline generation and executive relationship management. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, executing consultative multi-stakeholder sales motions, and mentoring fellow account executives.

What you will do

  • Own and grow a book of mid-market commercial accounts in the New Zealand territory.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing to create new ARR.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Customer Success, Renewals, and Solutions Architects to ensure adoption and minimize churn.
  • Articulate the value of AI-powered DevSecOps to align with customer business outcomes and security needs.
  • Manage territory and forecasting using operational rigor in Salesforce and Clari.
  • Mentor and coach fellow Commercial Account Executives to elevate overall team performance.

Requirements

  • Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles for commercial and mid-market customers.
  • Ability to quickly master and sell complex SaaS or DevSecOps platforms.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Clari, or similar CRM and forecasting tools.
  • Skill in managing large, complex deals using multi-threading and executive coverage strategies.
  • Self-starter capability in territory account planning and KPI execution.
  • English: C1+ required for high-level executive communication.
