UI Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000/year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of applications.
• Implement responsive user interfaces and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs and optimize SQL database schemas.
• Lead code reviews and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project scope and requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience with web frameworks such as React (preferably with Redux/Next.js) or Angular.
• 5+ years of experience designing automated UI tests and implementing RESTful APIs (Python preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with build tools like NPM and Nx.
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in science, engineering, or related majors.
• Compliance with the workplace model: must work from the office at least four full days per week.

• Prior experience working in financial services or fintech within a Product team.
