Salary: $152,010–$202,550 (plus up to 12% annual bonus eligibility).

What you will do

• Handle a full inventory of complex litigated files with minimal management oversight.
• Conduct all phases of personal injury litigation, including investigation, discovery, motions, and jury trials.
• Advise and mentor less senior attorneys on legal strategy and case management.
• Appear and advocate on behalf of the company and its member insureds in arbitrations and trials.
• Apply independent analysis to prepare legal pleadings, motions, and trial documents.
• Anticipate and advise on potential legal issues impacting insurance and motor club operations.

Requirements

• 10-12+ years of experience in insurance defense practice with significant first-chair trial experience.
• Juris Doctorate and active license to practice law in California.
• Must be based in the U.S. (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) and authorized to work indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Proficiency in personal injury litigation, liability assessment, causation, and coverage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and independent analytical skills.
• Ability to travel for appearances, team meetings, and events as required.
