Supportability Engineering Specialist (Security)

TL;DR

Supportability Engineering Specialist (Security): Developing and maintaining managed services for critical national infrastructure with an accent on Integrated Product Support (IPS) specifications and ITIL service operations. Focus on implementing supportability analysis programs, managing contractual documentation, and ensuring compliance with high-level security standards.

Location: Must be based in London or Cheltenham. Onsite (5 days office based). Must be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance and have lived in the UK for 10+ years.

What you will do

• Implement supportability analysis programs and maintain associated contractual documentation.
• Conduct maintenance task analysis, software support, and disposal analysis.
• Ensure timely completion of supportability reports and deliverables.
• Represent the team at formal and ad-hoc review meetings.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure flow-down of contract requirements.

Requirements

• Must have working knowledge of AIA/ASD S-Series IPS specifications or Def Stan 00-600.
• Must be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance.
• Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years.
• Significant experience in supportability analysis.
• Experience writing technical ILS documentation for secure programs.
• Ability to comply with strict security policies and assurance standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with through-life cost and spares modelling.
• Knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and testability studies (FMECA).
• Familiarity with ILS tools such as LIRs, OPUS 10, or PTC Windchill.
