What you will do

• Oversee ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of production lines and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults including bearings, conveyors, and pneumatics.
• Support electrical maintenance engineers with sensors, motors, and control panels.
• Manage and update technical documentation for all equipment and production processes.
• Propose and implement improvement projects to optimize operational and energy efficiency.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize production disruption.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Coleshill, UK
• Formal qualification or time-served in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical engineering and maintenance practices.
• Experience with tool setting and workshop machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Proficiency in using CMMS systems for data analysis and continuous improvement.
