Company

The Exploration Company is developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and crew transport.

What you will do

• Conduct rapid hands-on prototype development, including designing and building mockups and functional systems.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative human-in-the-loop evaluations of crew systems.
• Support hardware integration, manufacturing, and testing activities.
• Assist with requirements definition and conceptual design for mechanical and structural systems.
• Perform CAD modeling, structures and loads analysis, and ECLSS modeling.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) due to ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Currently enrolled student in engineering, applied physics, computer science, or a related field.
• Ability to work full-time for at least 12 weeks starting in September 2026.
• Strong hands-on project experience through student teams, work, or personal projects.
• Independent, self-starter attitude.
