Staff Engineer, Security Engineering Partners

What you will do

• Design and ship scalable security solutions.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate scalable security capabilities across Twilio products and platforms.
• Use security metrics and data at the product level to drive accountability and action.
• Lead security risk reduction by influencing engineering roadmaps and providing technical leadership.
• Lead security reviews for critical features, new initiatives, and infrastructure changes.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams to cultivate security expertise through training and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Location: Remote and based in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada.
• 8+ years of security engineering experience with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable security solutions.
• Deep technical expertise in application security, cloud security, or product security.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies and leading security design reviews.
• Experience leveraging LLMs in security solutions.
• Python proficiency is required; experience with Go and/or Java is a plus.
