Salary: $159,100 – $198,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design and maintain custom internal security tooling and automation systems for the engineering organization.
• Develop security services and APIs supporting authentication, authorization, secrets management, and RBAC using OAuth/OIDC.
• Automate cloud security controls and infrastructure hardening across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments.
• Build security capabilities and secure workflows to support AI-native engineering and LLM-based applications.
• Partner with Platform and Product Engineering teams to drive secure-by-default engineering practices.
• Support security incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on security, platform, or infrastructure security.
• Strong hands-on backend engineering experience building production-quality APIs and services.
• Proven experience implementing secure authentication and authorization systems in production applications.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and distributed systems in cloud-native environments.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Experience in regulated or high-trust environments such as healthcare or fintech is strongly preferred.

• Experience working with AI-enabled systems, AI-assisted engineering workflows, or LLM-based applications.
