What you will do

• Own full-cycle accounting processes including general ledger management and payroll allocations.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close cycles to ensure completion within 5–7 business days.
• Prepare financial statements and perform variance analysis for leadership and board reporting.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and internal compliance controls.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement automation to optimize ERP and reporting workflows.
• Review work completed by junior staff and provide mentorship on accounting standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Costa Rica.
• Must be available to work during U.S. business hours.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in GAAP, IFRS, and accrual accounting.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

Nice to have

• CPA or ACCA certification.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting or foreign currency exposure.
• Background in SaaS, real estate, or professional services.
• Experience with ERP implementation or accounting automation.
