What you will do

• Process global vendor payments, disbursements, customer refunds, and tax reimbursements.
• Conduct comprehensive cash account reconciliations across multiple bank portals and accounting records.
• Prepare and submit weekly payment registers to the Treasury department for cash forecasting.
• Participate in month-end close tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and team efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in an accounts payable specialist role.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be based in Managua, Nicaragua and able to work from the office 3 days per week.
