TL;DR
Accountant (Renewable Energy): Managing full-cycle accounting and asset management for a portfolio of solar project entities with an accent on financial discipline, audit-ready reporting, and multi-entity reconciliation. Focus on maintaining accurate general ledgers, coordinating with lenders and utilities, and ensuring timely financial reporting under EST business hours.
Location: Must be based in LATAM or the Philippines. Work schedule: EST overlap required.
Compensation: $1,500 - $2,000 USD/month.

What you will do
- Execute full-cycle accounting including AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledgers across multiple legal entities simultaneously.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for lenders and auditors.
- Coordinate financial activities with utilities, O&M providers, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure audit-ready records and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.
- C1+ English proficiency required for communication with US leadership.
- Must be available during EST business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience in renewable energy, real estate, or project finance.
- Familiarity with regulatory filings like REC retirements or LLC reports.
- Exposure to PPA or site lease contract administration.
