Location: Must be based in Cambridge, United Kingdom (Hybrid: in-office Monday–Thursday).

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for desktop and laptop technical issues.
  • Respond to incidents and tasks via the ticketing system, following established procedures.
  • Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, and repairs for hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, and peripheral equipment issues.
  • Document technical resolutions and escalate complex problems to appropriate teams.
  • Support a diverse range of technologies including Microsoft products, MacOS, and SaaS applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of IT support experience.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows 10, Office 365, and MacOS.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals (LAN, WAN, WiFi, Switches, Firewall).
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms like Jamf or Intune.
  • Proficiency in supporting Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and instruction-oriented writing.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud and SaaS applications.
  • Microsoft, Network+, or Cisco CCNA certifications.
  • Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu).
  • Experience with diagnostic tools like Wireshark or iPerf.
