Salary: €82,500 - €95,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide legal guidance on new features and AI functionality.
• Develop, implement, and refine the company's AI governance framework and internal policies.
• Conduct AI Act assessments and product compliance reviews.
• Manage GDPR and privacy-by-design requirements for new technology implementations.
• Oversee AI and technology vendor approval processes and risk assessments.
• Support the French Commercial Legal team with complex customer negotiation escalations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as legal counsel for Product/Engineering teams within a SaaS or technology company.
• Deep expertise in the EU AI Act, GDPR, and privacy-by-design principles.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Proven ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in managing AI-related legal matters and technology risk.
