System Support Associate

Location: Gotemba or Tokyo, Japan; willingness to travel domestically within Japan and internationally is required.

What you will do

• Lead the deployment of next-generation filling machines in Japan and other markets.
• Apply automation expertise and provide system-specific support for installation projects, including NPI and MC readiness.
• Audit filling lines and drive equipment performance improvement initiatives using performance data.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop containment solutions.
• Support field testing, business opportunity analysis, and technical assistance reporting.
• Build technical networks and share expertise with colleagues, customers, and regional and global teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and service work on A1, A3, or E3 machine systems.
• Fluent written and spoken Japanese is required.
• Working-level technical English proficiency is required.
• Customer-focused approach with experience managing customer relationships, technical discussions, and negotiations.
• Leadership, mentoring, coaching, initiative, and self-motivation.
• Willingness to travel within Japan and internationally.
