Thermal Management Systems Controls Engineer

What you will do

• Manage system- and component-level requirements.
• Develop algorithms and automotive software.
• Commission software on vehicles and execute in-vehicle software tests.
• Analyze measurements and test results.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Troubleshoot issues and eliminate faults.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
• Fluent spoken and excellent written English.
• At least two years of automotive experience.
• Understanding of EV thermal management architectures, thermodynamic cycles, heat pump layouts, coolant and refrigerant routing, valve management, and HVAC integration.
• Knowledge of automotive powertrains, system dynamics and modeling, controller and estimation algorithm design, CAN bus, and model-based software development with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods. Good communication, presentation, planning, and learning skills are also required.
