What you will do

• Manage day-to-day AP operations, including invoice verification, outgoing payments, reclaims, and corrections.
• Stabilize and shape accounting processes for European entities within the Budapest Solution Center.
• Perform AP closing activities and ensure strict adherence to service levels, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and act as a primary ambassador for suppliers.
• Support internal and external audits and provide onboarding training for juniors.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• 3-5+ years of experience in AP accounting, primarily within the Shared Service Center (SSC) sector.
• Strong proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP FI.
• Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer (periods of 2 to 6 weeks).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Hungarian.
