What you will do
- Lead technical execution of customer implementations from onboarding through successful production deployment on Game Warden.
- Implement and maintain secure cloud-native deployment patterns in regulated environments, including container hardening and CVE remediation for DoD accreditation.
- Drive application onboarding, platform migrations, runtime configuration, and production cutovers while minimizing deployment risk and customer disruption.
- Navigate ATO processes, government change control, and classification-level constraints to deliver compliant implementations.
- Partner with customer application teams and internal stakeholders (Platform Engineering, Product, Customer Support, Mission Success) to ensure operational handoff and readiness.
- Improve implementation quality and efficiency via documentation, automation, standardized deployment processes, and mentoring Customer Operations Engineers.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance (active or interim TS eligible strongly preferred).
- Must reside in an approved hiring hub: DC/Maryland/Virginia; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill (NC); Denver/Colorado Springs (CO); Dallas/Fort Worth (TX).
- 5–7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or related, including leading customer implementation/deployment engagements.
- Deep hands-on experience deploying and operating cloud-native applications on Kubernetes (containerization, Helm, container hardening, modern architectures).
- Experience with major cloud providers in government environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP) and implementing secure solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, cloud services, and application layers; familiarity with FedRAMP High / NIST 800-53 / DISA SRG / DoD IL4/IL5/IL6.
