Location: Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in one of the approved hiring hubs: DC/Maryland/Virginia, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill (NC), Denver/Colorado Springs (CO), or Dallas/Fort Worth (TX). Includes up to 50% travel to client locations.

Salary: $105,000 – $141,000

What you will do

• Lead the deployment and configuration of software solutions in secure, classified environments for US government customers.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for government clients and contractors.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting for software bugs, hardware issues, and deployment failures.
• Ensure deployed systems comply with government security standards, including FedRAMP and NIST.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Produce and deliver technical contract CDRLs and maintain detailed system documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret / SCI eligible security clearance.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems deployment or operations in highly regulated environments (defense, government).
• Proficiency in Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and Kubernetes/Helm.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking (VPNs, VLANs, firewalls) and automation using Go, Rust, Python, or Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
