What you will do

• Design, build, and operate core infrastructure on AWS with a focus on reliability and security.
• Evolve the Kubernetes-based platform to improve service deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines to increase developer velocity.
• Identify and eliminate friction in local development, testing, and observability workflows.
• Partner with application engineers to establish clear patterns and golden paths for service management.
• Strengthen operational excellence through improved alerting, incident response, and post-incident learning.

Requirements

• Deep experience operating production systems in the cloud, specifically AWS.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform.
• Extensive real-world experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes at scale.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong empathy for developers and a drive to eliminate manual or brittle workflows.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate complex infrastructure concepts pragmatically.
