What you will do

• Lead daily operations of the internal quality compliance technical staff.
• Manage external AS9100/ISO9001 certifications and customer-initiated audits.
• Oversee responses to US Government (DCMA, MDA) and customer corrective action requests.
• Develop and implement career development plans and onboarding procedures for quality engineers.
• Champion the integration of AI for risk identification, mitigation, and process automation.
• Provide leadership support during internal and external quality audits across multiple sites.

Requirements

• BS Degree in a technical engineering or quality-related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality-centric roles (compliance, operations, or supplier quality).
• Expert knowledge of AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 standards.
• Proficiency in CAPA methodologies and Lean operations.
• US Citizenship is mandatory due to government contractual requirements.
• Ability to work a 5-day, 8-hour workweek with support for weekend staff.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a technical engineering, quality, or operations-related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Compliance or Quality Manager.
• Manufacturing engineering leadership experience.
