Supervisor, Integration Subassemblies, First Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. First shift: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM PST. This is an onsite manufacturing role.

Salary: $128,400–$192,600 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead up to 25 direct reports, including production technicians and shift leads.
• Schedule and prioritize work while enforcing attendance, safety, and quality standards.
• Provide second-line technical support, drive root-cause resolution, and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
• Manage performance, career development, one-on-ones, reviews, corrective actions, hiring, onboarding, and mentorship.
• Communicate team progress to leadership and reinforce an accountable, high-performance culture.
• Oversee equipment, tooling, and 6S compliance across the work center.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production technicians or operators.
• Experience managing large teams and supporting complex assemblies in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with integration processes or subassembly production lines.
• Ability to enforce policies, corrective actions, and performance management practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to build teams from the ground up through hiring, onboarding, and mentorship.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Smartsheet, and LN.
• Experience developing work cells and creating floor layouts based on capacity planning.
• Experience with integration builds, pneumatic or hydrostatic component testing, and clean-line processes.
