Production Support Engineer

Location: Onsite (Englewood Cliffs, NJ). This role requires five days per week in the office and availability for rotational shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live broadcasts and production operations.
• Maintain and optimize broadcast technology systems, including switchers, routers, and encoders.
• Analyze complex audio/video workflows in SDI and IP 2110 environments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure minimal show disruptions.
• Document technical issues and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing and escalation.
• Support 24/7 production environments across multiple studio and control room locations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supporting live television production environments.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
• Must be willing to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and storage infrastructures.
• Experience with HDSDI, embedded audio, and digital signal formats.
• Knowledge of virtualized systems, VMs, and container orchestration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Evertz control systems and SMPTE 2110 standards.
• Proficiency with SONY production switchers and studio cameras.
• Experience with VizRT, Ross, or Chyron systems.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
