Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 yearly

What you will do

• Launch and scale CNBC’s subscriber forums, defining structure, guidelines, and moderation protocols.
• Hire, lead, and develop a dedicated community team and moderator network.
• Develop engagement strategies to drive participation, loyalty, and subscriber retention.
• Partner with editorial and talent to facilitate live chats, AMAs, and expert discussions.
• Monitor community health and refine strategies using engagement, safety, and retention metrics.

Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Proven experience building and managing online communities at scale.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in hiring and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of community platforms like Reddit or Discord.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Experience in media, finance, or subscription-based business models.
• Background in audience engagement or subscription growth strategy.
• Experience facilitating live digital events or talent-driven interactions.
• Familiarity with moderation tools, safety workflows, and governance models.
