Senior Accountant

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Eagle, Idaho (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Execute the general ledger month-end close process for 10-12 locations.
• Analyze operating statements, investigate variances, and compare actual results to historical trends.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriate coding.
• Maintain and monitor SOX controls to ensure financial completeness.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Eagle, Idaho.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2-5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
• Ability to work off-hours during peak close periods.
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sage Intacct.
