Senior Accountant

Location: Remote (NOAM - North America)

Salary: $80,000–$90,000

What you will do

• Own key components of the monthly close, including payroll and royalty-related expense accounts.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify financial fluctuations and resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders to analyze expense trends and support forecasting.
• Support year-end audit processes and maintain technical accounting documentation.
• Drive initiatives to improve internal controls, reporting workflows, and process efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in North America (NOAM).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Senior Accountant role.
• 3+ years of total accounting or finance experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with FP&A or business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

Nice to have

• Public Accounting experience.
• CPA certification.
• Exposure to ASC 842 or other technical accounting areas.
• Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.
