Scientist I (Assistant) (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Set up process equipment for laboratory-scale experiments.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, and culture media.
• Perform laboratory-scale downstream processing of vaccine process intermediates.
• Conduct process monitoring assays and accurately document test results.
• Analyze, collate, track, and report data to client staff members.
• Maintain records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices and communicate findings effectively.

Requirements

• B.S. in bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related science.
• 0–3 years of work experience and at least six months of related laboratory experience, preferably with biologics purification.
• General laboratory skills, including pipette use.
• Experience using formulas and linked spreadsheets in Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours and comply with laboratory procedures and company policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with tangential flow filtration.
