What you will do

• Break exclusive news and deliver high-impact reporting on Musk-led companies and emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain deep sourcing across industry, regulatory, and investment circles.
• Produce analytical stories that connect technological advancements with market and societal implications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deepen enterprise reporting and investigative coverage.
• Translate complex regulatory and technical developments into clear, accessible journalism for diverse audiences.
• Report and produce content across television, digital, and social media platforms.

Requirements

• Significant experience covering technology, markets, or corporate power at a major news organization.
• Proven track record of breaking scoops and delivering agenda-setting journalism.
• Strong understanding of AI, autonomy, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors.
• Excellent news judgment and ability to distinguish signal from hype.
• Must be able to work from the San Francisco office at least three days per week.
