Microsoft 365 Engineer, Purview & AI

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Implement, administer, and support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, and AI-enabled workplace services.
• Configure Purview information protection, sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, eDiscovery, audit, and insider risk capabilities.
• Support Copilot access management, security controls, extensibility, and agentic AI administration under enterprise governance standards.
• Resolve incidents, support escalations, perform problem management and root cause analysis, and maintain operational reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, security teams, and business partners on compliance and AI-enabled productivity solutions.
• Document technical procedures, evaluate new capabilities, and contribute to monitoring, resiliency, and service improvement.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience engineering and supporting Microsoft 365 or equivalent Microsoft cloud services in an enterprise environment.
• Experience administering Microsoft Purview compliance and information protection capabilities.
• Experience supporting or administering Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity services.
• Working knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Experience in a regulated enterprise environment; financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills; a bachelor's degree and relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.
