M365 Senior Engineer

Location: Daytona Beach, FL or Plano, TX, USA. Occasional travel of up to 10% is required.

Brown & Brown is hiring for an enterprise Microsoft 365 cloud engineering role supporting productivity and collaboration services.

What you will do

• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MFA, SSO, and Teams.
• Resolve Level III incidents and service requests through ServiceNow and provide Exchange Online troubleshooting expertise.
• Assess technical needs, document requirements, and support the design and deployment of Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Evaluate and responsibly adopt AI productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude, for collaboration, automation, and knowledge management.
• Apply critical updates, prepare cloud operations metrics, and recommend improvements based on security, compliance, financial, and operational considerations.
• Develop operational documentation, support audits, and assist with cybersecurity investigations.

Requirements

• Five or more years of Microsoft 365 cloud engineering experience.
• Subject matter expertise in Microsoft 365 messaging and Teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Ability to work in Daytona Beach, Florida, or Plano, Texas, USA, with occasional travel of up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
