Location: Must be based in Mossville, IL (Onsite 5 days/week). Domestic relocation is available.

Salary: $128,470 – $192,710

What you will do

• Define and document BMS control requirements and develop core software features.
• Create common control features using model-based development for electrification architectures.
• Apply MIL/SIL simulations for testing, optimization, and performance verification.
• Develop, calibrate, and validate BMS control features in lab and application environments.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to implement robust BMS control strategies.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure system integration and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Control Systems or Mechatronics preferred).
• Extensive experience in controls software development and system validation for complex systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and model-based system engineering tools.
• Hands-on experience with CAN communication and CANape.
• Knowledge of Lithium-Ion batteries and BMS control strategies.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Nice to have

• Experience with battery electric power systems and battery simulation.
• Experience with AI/ML and advanced controls techniques.
