Location: Hybrid position based in Fremont, CA. Candidates must be based in the U.S. and able to travel to Salem, OR, approximately one week per month.
Salary: $194,000–$253,000 USD

What you will do
- Act as an electrical engineering architect and technical leader for major robot subsystems.
- Translate product requirements into engineering specifications and collaborate with mechanical teams on PCB requirements.
- Implement and oversee PCB schematics and layout to create production-ready deliverables.
- Lead verification and validation efforts, including EMC and safety compliance testing.
- Mentor and coach senior and entry-level electrical engineers on design checklists and verification processes.
- Manage component selection, vendor relationships, and assembly goals to meet aggressive project timelines.
Requirements
- Must have current authorization to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience, including at least 2 years in robotics.
- Extensive experience with Altium for schematic entry, PCB layout, and harness development.
- Proficiency in embedded controls, high-speed signaling, digital design, and power electronics.
- Strong knowledge of EMC compliance and manufacturing test capabilities.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree with robotics specialization.
- Experience with high-capacity Li batteries, BMS, EtherCAT, or sensor fusion.
- Technical expertise in motor control (BLDC) and functional safety.
- Project management experience using Jira.
- Altium super-user status for complex schematics or layouts.
