Staff Data Engineer (Corporate Engineering)

Salary: $180,200 - $252,300 USD

What you will do

• Lead the evolution of existing integrations toward a modern, orchestrated architecture.
• Design and scale robust data pipelines into a cloud data warehouse, integrating enterprise systems like ERP and HR.
• Set the long-term technical direction for financial data warehousing and analytics strategy.
• Establish automated reconciliation logic and data quality frameworks to ensure 100% accuracy and SOX compliance.
• Introduce data engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and security standards.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to translate complex requirements into automated technical solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7+ years of experience engineering data integrations and pipelines in complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience architecting ingestion patterns into AWS S3 and cloud data warehouses.
• Direct experience working in a public company environment with rigid data governance and SOX compliance.
• Mastery of data standards, lineage, schema validation, and pipeline observability.
• Experience operating within an Agile framework to manage sprints and prioritize backlogs.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of financial business processes like Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay.
• Extensive experience with NetSuite schema, SuiteTalk APIs, and custom segments.
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS tools such as Workato or Coupa.
