What you will do

• Define the company's perspective on manufacturing planning in an AI-first world.
• Develop standardized manufacturing solution templates for production planning, capacity-aware supply planning, and inventory trade-offs.
• Translate complex manufacturing workflows into prioritized product requirements and clear problem statements.
• Define how agentic AI and automation apply to scenario-based decision support and autonomous planning actions.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and professional services to ensure alignment between product investments and customer needs.
• Lead direct customer engagement, discovery workshops, and use case validation to ensure solutions reflect real-world constraints.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management for supply chain/manufacturing software or relevant manufacturing/supply chain planning roles.
• Deep understanding of production planning, MPS, or APS and supply chain planning systems.
• Proven ability to translate complex workflows into clear product direction and requirements.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing constraints, including BOMs, capacity, and lead times.
• Excellent customer-facing presence with the ability to lead discovery and engage both practitioners and executives.
• Must be based in Germany or able to work within the region.
