TL;DR
Lead Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Leading a team of developers to build and maintain the technology platform powering Rockstar's online titles with an accent on high-impact web features and scalable player experiences. Focus on mentoring engineers, defining technical roadmaps, and ensuring engineering excellence across connected game experiences.
Location: In-office, New York City (Manhattan)
Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to foster growth and engineering excellence.
- Define team objectives, OKRs, and technical roadmaps for communication with leadership.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, system design, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Production teams to define project scope and requirements.
- Partner with other Online Services teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
- Translate complex engineering concepts into actionable objectives for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional enterprise web development experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams of 4+ people.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and CSS.
- Experience with .NET or Next.js.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Must be based in or be able to work from the NYC headquarters in Manhattan.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-traffic websites and micro frontend architecture.
- Knowledge of C# or Next.js development.
- Familiarity with CMS and accessibility standards.
- Passion for video games and knowledge of Rockstar Games titles.
