What you will do

• Design and implement interactive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA to align technical roadmaps.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to ensure high software quality and maintainability.
• Proactively manage technical debt through strategic refactoring and system optimizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide architectural leadership across multiple teams.
• Oversee deployment and maintenance processes to ensure high availability in production.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York, NY.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/related field + 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree + 3 years of experience.
• 3 years of experience building high-volume, accessible web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
• 3 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, UX/UI, and QA stakeholders.
• 3 years of experience advocating for security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
• 2 years of experience providing technical mentorship and architectural leadership.
