Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $112,500–$140,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Architect enterprise-level systems and refactor legacy components as needed.
• Integrate AI-enabled features and validate AI-generated output for correctness and security.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate directly with product owners and end users to define system scope.
• Monitor automated processes and ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive programming experience with ASP.Net, C#, and SQL.
• Strong experience with relational database design and stored procedures.
• Expertise in SOLID design principles and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt design, and RAG patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience building lightweight AI-enabled features into production systems.
• Experience with development and consumption of web services.
• Experience with XSLT and XML.
