Salary: $147,900 – $203,000

What you will do

• Design and maintain data pipelines for manufacturing processes, including device yield, assembly, and supply chain events.
• Build data models providing Operations and Hardware teams with visibility into production performance and supply health.
• Integrate data from MES, ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle), and factory IoT sources into the company lakehouse.
• Own end-to-end data quality and reliability from factory ingestion to analytics-ready tables.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Quality teams to deliver scalable data products.
• Expand data engineering support to Quality Testing and firmware data domains.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with exposure to manufacturing, operations, or supply chain data.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for building reliable production pipelines.
• Experience integrating data from MES, ERP, or factory IoT systems.
• Proven ability to model manufacturing data such as production lots and device traceability.
• Experience running production data systems on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Must be based in the USA; candidates from AK, DE, IA, MS, MO, NE, SD, VT, WV, and WI will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware manufacturing data at a consumer electronics or IoT company.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Iceberg, or dbt.
• Exposure to Quality Testing data systems or firmware/device telemetry data.
