What you will do

• Own growth features end-to-end from technical design to launch and metric readout.
• Design and build scalable backend systems for sharing flows, invite mechanics, and notification pipelines.
• Lead instrumentation strategies and drive rigorous A/B experiments to iterate on product growth.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to define success metrics and identify systemic gaps.
• Maintain high technical standards through code reviews and proactive documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience shipping user-facing features at scale.
• Deep proficiency in Python; experience with Go is a plus.
• Strong command of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL stores (DynamoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or Elasticsearch).
• Production experience with Kafka or similar distributed messaging systems.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, etc.).
