What you will do

• Architect scalable solutions using MySQL, Vitess, Kafka, Cassandra, and Redis to support sophisticated AI applications.
• Build and enhance backend systems in Python for seamless integration with machine learning and AI models.
• Design and implement robust business logic using the Django web framework.
• Develop reusable and efficient code to support high-performance web services and real-time AI analytics.
• Collaborate with AI teams to streamline data pipelines and optimize model deployment.
• Drive technical decisions and communicate strategies to stakeholders across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and architecting large-scale web services, preferably supporting AI systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python (or Go, Java, C++).
• Extensive experience with Django and integrating systems with MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on AWS, particularly those interfacing with ML platforms.
• Must be based in or able to work in Mountain View, CA

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HTTP, networking principles, and API design patterns for AI integrations.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and their interaction with AI services.
