What you will do

• Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of sequencing equipment at customer sites.
• Train operators on instrument use and ensure systems meet performance specifications.
• Manage service spare parts inventory and submit timely documentation of activities and expenses.
• Collaborate with sales and field application specialists to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and train junior service engineers and contribute to the technical knowledge base.
• Develop and improve operating procedures and service documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent military experience).
• 2-5 years of experience servicing complex electromechanical or chemical equipment.
• Knowledge of biochemistry, biology, or other life sciences.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without present or future sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and ability to travel extensively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver around laboratory equipment.

• Experience with life sciences instrumentation, specifically DNA sequencing technology.
