Compensation: Base pay $48.95–$69.57/hour (up to $179,169 total package including equity and bonus)

What you will do

• Provide service, support, and troubleshooting for automated laboratory processes and instrumentation.
• Perform and coordinate maintenance, installation, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of lab equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving for complex instrument issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and manage parts inventory.

Requirements

• BS degree in a scientific discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, specifically liquid handlers.
• Experience working in a CLIA or similar regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of statistical analyses relevant to automated lab processes.
• Exceptional documentation abilities and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Molecular Biology techniques and Next Generation Sequencing.
• Experience with data science or data engineering in an automated lab setting.
• Experience developing training programs and performing knowledge transfer.
