Financial Analyst (Finance)

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Managing financial planning and analysis for G&A expenses with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Focus on developing complex financial models, optimizing operational efficiency, and providing strategic insights to senior management.

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in office). Only candidates based in San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC will be considered.

Salary: $100,300 – $140,000

What you will do

• Manage the FP&A process for G&A expenses, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze expense trends and variances to provide actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial visibility.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably focusing on G&A expense management.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
