Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Heilbronn or Munich, Germany (Hybrid model with remote flexibility).

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design, build, and operation of production AI features and services for client engagements.
• Make architecture and implementation decisions for ML/LLM-integrated systems including APIs, microservices, and event-driven pipelines.
• Drive evaluation, safety, and observability practices into every service shipped.
• Guide partner teams through the transition from PoC to scalable, production-deployed solutions.
• Mentor AI engineers through code review, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Contribute to technical scoping and solution options during pre-sales activities.

Requirements

• Several years of software engineering experience with hands-on experience building and operating ML/LLM-based systems in production.
• Strong command of Python and professional engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
• Solid grounding in cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes), APIs, microservices, and data stores.
• Working knowledge of the modern AI stack (LangChain, LangGraph, vector stores, evaluation frameworks).
• Fluent English required; working proficiency in German is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated experience leading a feature or service through production hardening in a client-facing setting.

• Experience in client-facing or cross-functional technical roles.
• Background in technical scoping and effort estimation.
