AI Agents Engineer (AI/Life Sciences): Developing and scaling automated AI-powered solutions and agentic workflows to optimize business processes within the supply chain compliance sector with an accent on end-to-end system design and data automation. Focus on designing production-ready AI agents, building ETL pipelines with dbt, and integrating complex systems via APIs to drive operational excellence.
Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain. Candidates must have a continuous work permit for Spain or Germany or be open to relocating.
Salary: €50,000 - €60,000

What you will do
- Partner with business teams to identify and scope high-impact AI and automation opportunities to raise productivity.
- Design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions, from proof of concept to production.
- Develop intelligent routing, workflow orchestration, and AI agents integrated with internal platforms via APIs and webhooks.
- Design and build ingestion and transformation pipelines using dbt to support analytics and decision-making.
- Package solutions using Docker and Kubernetes to meet DevOps standards for plug-and-play deployment.
- Establish quality, performance, and safety monitoring for LLM-powered agents running in production.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java, and proficient SQL.
- Practical experience building and running agentic workflows and LLM systems in production.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt or similar frameworks.
- Conceptual DevOps knowledge, including Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Valid continuous work permit for Spain or Germany.
- English proficiency required.
