Salary: $19.90 - $25 per hour

What you will do

• Perform instrument installations, qualifications, and troubleshooting to minimize laboratory downtime.
• Manage calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) programs in compliance with Quality Assurance regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors for price quotes and service scheduling.
• Develop equipment SOPs and maintain accurate service documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Conduct inventory checks and manage supply ordering for R&D spaces.
• Execute regular safety checks and audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• BS/BA in biomedical engineering, biological sciences, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Austin, TX.
• Industry experience in supporting laboratory equipment is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ of instruments.
• Experience in BSLI/BSLII laboratories and familiarity with OSHA and CDC biosafety guidelines.
• Knowledge of DNA Isolation, PCR, Cell Culture, and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
• Experience with LIMS and operating high-throughput automation instruments.
