TL;DR
Strategic Account Executive (Logistics): Driving new business and managing a defined territory of 3PL and carrier partners with an accent on full-cycle sales, prospecting, and strategic account growth. Focus on building long-term relationships, executing business planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding and expansion.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Minneapolis office (hybrid, 2-3 days/week)
Compensation: $155,000 (on-target earnings)

What you will do
- Drive value-based sales processes to identify, develop, and close new business within a defined territory.
- Prospect for new clients through email campaigns, networking, and cold calling.
- Lead annual and quarterly business planning to position the territory for success.
- Partner with sales engineering and implementation teams to ensure smooth transitions from close to onboarding.
- Manage existing accounts to drive ongoing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Track key findings, pipeline velocity, and progress in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from the Minneapolis office 2-3 days per week.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full sales cycles from prospecting to close.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

- Familiarity with logistics, transportation, or warehouse management systems (TMS/WMS).
