TL;DR
Associate Director, Curriculum & Assessment Program Operations: Managing program execution, financial operations, and operational consistency for the AP Curriculum and Assessment team with an accent on high-volume program delivery and cross-functional coordination. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Reston, VA (Hybrid: onsite required every Tuesday and Wednesday).
Salary: $56,000–$95,000

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end Development Committee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and meeting execution.
- Establish and refine scalable operational processes, documentation, and knowledge management practices.
- Provide oversight for the $6M AP Curriculum & Assessment budget portfolio, including forecasting and expense management.
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, clear roles, and smooth program delivery.
- Maintain accurate committee rosters and serve as the single source of truth for membership records.
- Support onsite meeting operations and collaborate with the broader team to deliver 65+ annual meetings.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in program management, operations, or large-scale program delivery.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong proficiency with operational tools such as Smartsheet and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex operational budgets and financial processes.
- Ability to maintain a consistent onsite presence in the Reston office.
- Ability to travel 3-6 times a year for business purposes.
